Abstract
This research was designed to investigate the Influence of teaching aids on primary school pupils achievement in Ovia North East, Edo State. Four research questions were raised and four hypothesis formulated to guide the study. This study is a descriptive survey research. The targeted population of the study comprised of hundred (100) public primary schools and one hundred in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State. A sample of twenty two (22) pupils were selected using a simple random sampling technique. A research questionnaire was constructed and distributed among the participants. Data collected were analysed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test of difference and ANOVA statistics. Result from the study showed that the level of work commitment was high among primary five pupils in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State. The study also revealed that there were significant difference in the learning speed of pupils taught using teaching aids. Based on the findings, school authorities should introduce teaching aids and enforce laws that these teaching aids be used by the teachers while teaching in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State
