ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of rural women participation in grassroots development programmes in local government area of Edo state.
The method used in the collection of data wthe questionnaire. A questionnaire schedule was constructed and distributed to 100 women in the grassroot Of. Oredo ocal government area of Edo state. The population was made up of only 100 women. It was also observed that lack of financial stability has jeopardized a lot of women from participating in development programmes.
