ABSTRACT
This study was designed to examine the ‘influence of Religious Studies on the morals and behaviors of secondary school students in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State. To achieve this purpose, the following research questions were put forward: Is the teaching of Religious Studies prevalent in secondary schools in Ovia North East Local Government Area? Are there factors militating against the effectiveness of Religious Studies in improving morals and behaviors? Has Religious Studies been effective in improving morals and behaviors? What are the possible strategies or solutions in ensuring the effectiveness of Religious Studies in improving morals and behaviors?
