ABSTRACT
This study seeks to evaluate the influence of religion on moral upbringing on students taking Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State as a case study. The society is ever changing and students are more exposed to the outside world than ever before, the risk of moral decadence is fast increasing because of this exposure. The survey research design was adopted for the study. To achieve the purpose of the study, four research questions were raised. The sample size of five senior secondary schools were used for the study. Data was collected with the aid of well-structured and valid questionnaires; the data collected were analyzed using frequency counts and simple percentages.
