ABSTRACT

This study is designed to investigate the influence of parental involvement in secondary school students’ behaviour towards the learning process, for the surgery five(5) research questions were stated for verification. Five (5) research schools in Ovia North East Local Government Area were randomly selected to which one hundred (100) students were used as sample for the study.

The instrument used for the collection of data is the Questionnaire, it is being administered to one hundred (100) students from 5 selected schools in Ovia North East Local Government Area Of Edo State. The data gathered is analyzed using sample percentage. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire is also tested to ensure it tested what it is meant to measure.

From the analysis and result gotten, it is observed that parental involvement influences the students behavior positively.
