ABSTRACT
This research work examined the influence of NTA My Standpoint Programme on the voting pattern of Benin residents during the 2023 Presidential election. This study employed both the social responsibility theory and agenda setting theory. The research design was survey and instrument used was questionnaire. The sample size of the study was 384 which was arrived through the simple random technique. From the findings of this study, it showed that the voting pattern of Benin City residents was not influenced by My Standpoint Programme. Findings of the study also indicated a low level of awareness of the Programme. The research work recommends that NTA employ strategies to create awareness of the programme so as to fulfill the programme’s objectives which is to enlighten and educate citizens about election.
