ABSTRACT
This study investigated the influence of multimedia tools in enhancing chemistry learning among secondary school students in oredo local government area. The descriptive survey research design was adopted in the study. Four research questions were raised to guide the study. The purpose of the study was the factors such as impact of multimedia tools, Influence of multimedia tools, teachers perception of multimedia tools and the availability of multimedia. A structured questionnaire, titled: Influence of multimedia tools in enhancing chemistry learning among secondary school students in oredo local government area of Edo state was used for data collection using simple sampling for population of this study. The questionnaire was validated by the researcher’s supervisor as well as two other experts in the Faculty of Education while the Cronbach’s alpha reliability method was adopted to ascertain the reliability of the instrument which yielded a co-efficient index of 0.712. Data were analyzed with simple percentage. The study was not constricted by sex and was subjected to a population of two hundred and sixty-four (264) persons. The findings were discussed and it was seen that the factors earlier mentioned had an effect on the study. Certain suggestions and recommendations were made.
