ABSTRACT
The research study investigated the influence of laboratory on the academic performance of Biology students in Senior Secondary Schools in Oredo Local Government Area. This research was geared into examining the extent to which the use of laboratory in schools affect the academic achievement of students offering Biology in Senior Secondary School. This study adopted the use of descriptive survey design. The population of the study consists of all Biology students from the thirteen (13) public Senior Secondary School SS1 in Oredo Local Government Area. A total of one hundred (100) students were randomly selected from (5) sample schools for the study. The Instrument adopted for this study was the questionnaire was scored on a 4-point Likert scale. Data obtained was analyzed using descriptive statistics namely frequency distribution and percentage mean value.
