This study was carried to examine the influence of internet exposure on the sexual behaviours of the students of the faculty of education, University of Benin. There were three research questions that was raised and analysed for the purpose of the study. The population of the study comprises of six thousand, four hundred and thirty-five (6435) undergraduate students of the Faculty of Education of the University of Benin; while a sample size of 250 undergraduate students was used. The sample size was achieved using purposive sampling technique. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection and analysed using frequency counts, mean calculations, simple percentage. The questionnaire was validated by the researcher’s supervisor and two other experts from the department of health safety and environmental education. The result revealed that the use of internet by students poses severe threats to them as they get glued and exposed to contents which alter their expectations, change their attitudes and cause some of them to engage in these acts. Based on the findings of this study, it was recommended that families should ensure that their children are well monitored and taught on the dangers of being exposed to internet as these explicit contents are all over majority of the sites individuals access daily. Also Government should ensure that there is restriction on the sites that are being used in the country and measures and enforcement should be put in place to curb discrepancies.
