ABSTRACT

This study investigated the influence of instructional technology on adult education personnel for teaching and learning in the University of Benin, inorder to achieve the objectives of the study, four (4) research questions were raised to guide the study.

A descriptive research design was used for the study. A total of 100 learners will be selected as sample size for the study. This will be achieved by using a stratified and a simple random technique whereby four (4) departments will be initially selected and thereafter twenty five (25) students were selected from each of the selected departments using balloting.

The study found that instructional technology has improved the teaching learning process, it has also made teaching and learning to be more effective and efficient.The study further recommended that more generous financial support should be made available by the government to provide the basic instructional technology facilities needed in Adult Education Programmes.
