ABSTRACT
This study was aimed at examining the influence of instructional materials on the teaching and learning of Home Economics in some selected school in Warri-South Local Government Area of Delta State. The researcher adopted the survey research design. The research was carried out using a sample of 100 respondents comprising of 20 teachers and 80 students. From 5 Secondary Schools in Warri-South Local Government which was selected by simple random sampling technique. The research was carried out using a well designed comprehensive questionnaire which was distributed to Home Economics teachers and students in some selected schools in Warri-South Local Government Area, to accurately evaluate the influence of instructional material in the teaching and learning of Home Economics in Junior Secondary Schools in Nigeria. Validity and Reliability of the instrument. Data from the questionnaire were analyzed using the mean (x) and standard deviation (SD).
