ABSTRACT

This research examined the impact of home economics instructors' family welfare and parenting abilities on home economics vocational programs in the Egor Local Government Area. To help direct the investigation, four research questions were posed, and three hypotheses were developed and evaluated at the significance level of 0.05.

A descriptive survey research approach was used in the study.  Two hundred (200) secondary school teachers in Edo State's Egor Local Government Area made up the study's population (Ministry of Education, 2024). One hundred (100) teachers from Edo state's Egor local government area made up the study's sample size. The study's sample was created using a proportional sampling approach. A questionnaire was the tool used to gather the data. Influence of Home Economics Vocational Programs on Parenting Skills and Family Wellbeing of Home Economics Teachers (IHEVPPSFWHET) was the title of the questionnaire. Section A of the questionnaire examined the demographic characteristics of the respondents, including their age and gender. parts A and B comprised the two parts. In contrast, the twenty (20) item assertions in section B were taken directly from the study question. The researcher supervisor and two additional specialists from the Department of Vocational and Technical Education (VTE), Faculty of Education, University of Benin, Benin City, examined the instrument the researcher prepared in person.
