ABSTRACT
This project is title “Influence of Family Planning Programmes on the Moral and Social Development of Women Undergoing Literacy in Benin Metropolis. It aims at investigating the role played by Family Planning on the moral and social lives of women learners.
To achieve the set subjective of this research work, several authors views were reviewed. Five (5) research questions were formulated and tested in order to obtain relevant information about the main issue on the subject matter. Questionnaires were used to collect data, frequency counts and simple percentage were the tools used for the analysis of the data collected to obtain meaningful results.
From the result, it was discovered that adult education has a role to play in family planning, and there are various family planning methods, and adult education has made a significant impact on women lives, and their economy depends on the population of the citizens of the economy which can be curbed through family planning methods and effective child spacing. The results also shows that women who involved in family planning methods are those with basic literacy and knowledge on child spacing and its benefits, and adult facilitators has tried their best to impact in women the knowledge and benefits attached to effective family planning.
