INFLUENCE OF COMPUTER USAGE ON SMALL SCALE BUSINESS OPERATION

ABSTRACT

The study investigated the influence of computer usage on small scale business operation in Uhunmwonde Local Government Area of Edo State. To achieve the purpose of the study, four research questions were raised and answered. The descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population for this study was made up of 1,201 registered small scale business owners in Uhunmwonde Local Government Area of Edo State. The sample size for the study was made up of 120 small scale business owners constituting 10% of the population. The questionnaire was the instrument for data collection. Data analysis was done using mean and standard deviation. The findings from the study include there is high extent to which computer usage influence small scale business accounting , stock keeping, communication and payment u operations, It was concluded that there is high extent to which computer usage influence small scale business accounting, stock keeping, communication and payment operations in Uhunmwonde Local Government Area of Edo State.
