ABSRACT
The study examined the influence of Christian religions studies to the moral development of senior secondary studies in Ovia- North East Local Government Area of Edo State, to guide the study, three research questions were raised.
The descriptive design was used for the research work. Three research questions were raised to guide the study questionnaire was designed and used for data collection. A total of one hundred and twenty (120) respondents were used for the study. The simple percentage was used for analysis data obtained from the study.
Based on the findings made, it was discovered that certain factors were responsible for influence of Christian Religions studies to improve moral development. Amongst these factors are: strategic conventional methods in teaching CRS, teachers training, instructional materials. Therefore, there should be appropriate adoption of strategic conventional method to reduce social misconduct. Also government should implement consistent teachers training to instill positive attitude and values in students.
