ABSTRACT
This study investigates the Influence of Automobile Technology on Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Develeopment in Nigeria. Four (4) research questions were raised to guide the study. The study employed a descriptive survey research design. The population of this study comprised of seventy (70) advanced technologists in Ovia North East in Edo State. The research instrument used for data collection was a self-structured questionnaire titled “Influence of Automobile Technology on Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Develeopment Questionnaire (IATESDQ)”. The instrument for data collection was subjected to face validity by the researcher's supervisor and two other experts from the Department of Vocational and Technical Education, Faculty of Education, University of Benin, Benin City. To establish the reliability of the instrument, the internal consistency of the items was measured using the Cronbach alpha statistical tool. It yielded an alpha value of 0.86. The study used statistical analysis methods including mean, standard deviation, two sample independent t-tests to investigate the Influence of Automobile Technology on Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Develeopment in Nigeria. Findings indicated that the innovative abilities of entrepreneurs is highly affected by automobile technologies. Entrepreneurship effectively address the challenge of poverty alleviation in Nigeria and Automobile technologies influence job opportunities and economic growth. Recommendations include Government implementing diverse use of automobile technologies in all fields of life so as to make it easy to create employment., advocate for policies that will favour the use of automobile technologies by both infant and large industries and advocate for comprehensive integration of sustainability concepts across all aspects of the educational curriculum, including general studies and collaborate with educators and policymakers to develop standardized guidelines for incorporating sustainability into education.. Based on the findings of the study, it was concluded that automobile technologies have very many effects on the sustainable development of Nigeria.
