Abstract
This study presents an evaluation of the "Inside Out" television program on RAVE TV, hosted by Agatha Amata, in its role in promoting family planning. The aim of this evaluation was to assess the program's effectiveness in disseminating information about family planning methods and encouraging responsible family planning practices among its viewers. The evaluation employed a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of viewership data and qualitative analysis of audience feedback. Viewership data were collected and analyzed to determine the program's reach and audience engagement. Additionally, qualitative feedback from viewers and experts in the field of family planning was collected through surveys and interviews. The findings of this evaluation suggest that the "Inside Out" program on RAVE TV, hosted by Agatha Amata, has made significant strides in promoting family planning. The program has consistently attracted a broad and engaged viewership, indicating its appeal and relevance to its target audience. Furthermore, qualitative feedback from viewers and experts indicated that the program has been effective in disseminating accurate information about various family planning methods and addressing misconceptions. The study also identified areas for potential improvement, such as diversifying content to cover a wider range of family planning topics and expanding the program's outreach through social media and community engagement initiatives. The "Inside Out" program on RAVE TV, with Agatha Amata as the host, has demonstrated its potential as a valuable platform for promoting family planning. The program's ability to inform and educate viewers on family planning methods and its engagement with its audience highlight its significance in contributing to informed and responsible family planning practices. Further efforts to enhance content and outreach can maximize its impact in addressing family planning issues in Nigeria and beyond.
