ABSTRACT
The main focus of work is to examine Individualism and Dreams portrayed in Funke Akindele's A Tribe Called Judah and Jade Osiberu's Brotherhood. This seminar uses the qualitative research method. Data was gotten from aforementioned movies and scholarly reviews from different authors and other materials. Cultural and post colonial theories served as the theoretical framework of the study. This work is divided into four chapters. Chapter one includes the purpose of study, scope of study, background of study, research methodology, Theoretical frame work, review of related scholarship and the Thesis statement. Chapter is the analysis of the movies which examines the factors that influence Individualism and dreams. Chapter three looks at the impact of Individualism and dreams. Chapter is the conclusion. This seminar examines how poverty, family expectations, government negligence and systemic barriers in Nigeria limits individual aspirations and dreams. Ultimately resulting in dire consequences like violence, death eroded morals and purpose as reflected in the movies.
