ABSTRACT
This study examines the impact of technology on language use among Uniben students. The purpose of this research was to find out the impact of Technology on language use xi among Uniben students. This involves their speaking, writing, reading and all forms of communication skills. Has the advent of technology, specifically smartphones and social media, affected the way students communicate and use language in their daily lives? To what extent has technology influenced the development and evolution of language, particularly in terms of the emergence of new vocabulary, slang, and abbreviations?, the potential positive and negative effects of technology on language use, such as the impact on grammar, spelling, and overall language proficiency among students? The collection of data was carried out through the administration of questionnaires through Google form which received over one hundred and three respondents (103) from different faculties and departments of the University.
