ABSTRACT
This research delves into the unique impact of social entrepreneurship on sustainable development of the Nigerian economy. Through a comprehensive analysis this study aims to identify the contributions of social entrepreneurship to sustainable development, particularly in the context of Nigerian educational institutions. The study addresses the growing importance of social entrepreneurship in addressing challenges faced by educational institutions in Nigeria. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on social entrepreneurship, and academic sustainable development. The study population consist of 60,000 students of the University of Benin, a total of 397 questionnaires were distributed, and 298 were obtained, from the sample size of 398 participants. Chi-Square Test was used in testing the hypotheses. The findings of this study reveals that social entrepreneurship positively impacts sustainability, as well as sustainability within educational institutions.
