Abstract
This study was carried out examine the impact of motivation on teachers’ effectiveness in secondary schools in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State. five research questions were raised and examined.
The descriptive survey research design was adopted in carrying out the study. The sample size for the study was made up of 100 teachers randomly selected from five (5) public secondary schools in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State.
The major findings of the study revealed show that salary payment significant contributes to teachers’ effectiveness in secondary schools in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State. That training significantly influence teacher’s effectiveness in secondary schools in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State. That working condition significantly affect teacher’s effectiveness in secondary schools in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State.
