The purpose of this study was to assess the Impact of Low Cost on Educational Materials on the Knowledge and Attitude of Students towards Ozone Layer Depletion in University of Benin. Two research questions and two hypotheses were raised to act as a guide to the study.
A Quasi experimental research design was used in eliciting response from the respondents. A structured questionnaire was administered to collect data from a sample of fifty (50) respondents using the 100 level students of the department of Health, Safety and Environmental Education as a case study.
In the findings, it was observed that low-cost educational materials can play a crucial role in enhancing both knowledge and attitudes towards environmental issues such as ozone depletion among students at the University of Benin. These materials not only contribute to increased understanding but also promote positive attitudes and perceptions, potentially leading to greater engagement in environmental conservation efforts.
