ABSTRACT
The study explored the relationship between government funding and agricultural output in Nigeria. The data used covered a time frame of 1980-2015 on annual basis. The various statistical and econometric measures as well as empirical results were quite revealing indicating a positive relationship between two variables (PAE and CBLAA) and AGROUT and a negative relationship between one variable (RINT) and AGROUT. Following a detailed time series analysis, the study conclusively reveals that CBLAA is statistically significant and impacts Agricultural Output significantly while the others have limited significance. It is in this light therefore that the following policy recommendations are made
