ABSTRACT

This study has assessed or reached the conclusion that the recruitment and selection procedures employed by multinational companies in Nigeria differ in character. When it comes to small businesses, recruiting and selection are done on a small scale and occasionally with the help of others. However, in huge companies, the influence of others is absent, but the large scale of recruiting and selection is still quite drawn out and time demanding. The literature and discussion readily available clearly demonstrate the significance of having and adhering to a well-structured recruiting and selection policy, which HR personnel should use and adhere to in order to attract the best employees and new hires for the organization. Management of the organization or company depends on its HR department, which should not let the company executives down. Maximum benefits also happen when these policies are developed. The results of this study show that although the line managers and executives of the organization were somewhat satisfied with the recruiting and selection process, there is still a great deal that the line managers and employees will need to deal with in the future that they are unaware of. Another thing to take away from this is that there aren't many ways to hire new employees because big businesses typically use their internal labor pools rather than the outside labor market because they have enough employees working for them already. In the end, the company is more confident in their experienced personnel than in hiring a new hire who could need some time to adjust and understand the results. The conclusion was delivered with a bang, bringing with it the knowledge and skills that hiring should follow established policies in a company. Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma are now one of the top management strategies used in businesses today. Lean Six Sigma is a unique management strategy. Lean Six Sigma is currently increasing results from previous years in numerous companies. Lean manufacturing concentrates its efforts on the "waste" reduction and everything that does not provide value for the client, as the thesis' literature indicates accurately. Then, Six Sigma focuses on what the consumer wants and strives to provide the finest goods possible using a new approach that is constantly based on data to optimize the processes using statistical tools.
