ABSTRACT
The study investigated the impact of Environmental education on student's knowledge and attitude towards waste to wealth among University of Benin students. To guide this study, four research questions were raised and they were all answered. The study adopted quasi experimental survey design , 50 respondent were purposively selected from two department (health, safety and Environmental education (HSE), Human kinetic and sport science (HKS)) 100level student respectively which was the population of the study. The instruments used in collecting the data was a structured questionnaire designed by the researcher. The data collected were analyzed using simple percentage and frequency counts for descriptive analysis The study revealed that Environmental education has a strong impact on student's knowledge and attitude towards waste to wealth initiatives in the university of benin. Thus, schools especially higher education should include Environmental education into their curriculum. Awareness campaigns should be organized in order to provide adequate information about waste to wealth initiatives amongs students and citizens at large.
