ABSTRACT
The "Impact of Building Maintenance Culture On Students' Academic Performances at The Faculty of Education, University of Benin" was the focus of the study. The study's goals included determining how much of a maintenance culture is used in buildings and how it affects students' academic performance at the University of Benin's Faculty of Education. Three research questions were developed for the study in accordance with the stated objectives. Only 92 of the 110 online questionnaires distributed to the population of 4544 students (years 1 to year 4) were correctly filled out and returned. The study used a descriptive survey research design. The Building Maintenance Culture on Students' Academic Performance Questionnaire was utilized to gather information from respondents. The results of this study showed that maintenance emphasizes the value of educational facilities by demonstrating how they help students become better learners. In order to inform and educate the general public, including students, on the relevance of good maintenance of school facilities, this study also assesses the degree of maintenance culture in school facilities. The study establishes a link between school facilities maintenance and students' academic performances at the University of Benin and suggests that government and school management regularly assess the level of suitability and stability of school facilities in order to support students' academic performance.
