ABSTRACT
The study was carried out to assess the impact of agricultural extension services on household food availability in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. Specifically, the study describes the socioeconomic characteristics of the respondents, level of access to extension information by farming households and it's effect on household food availability,food availability status of respondents, level of adoption of inputs and practice recommended by extension service and the effect of extension service on household food availability.
A total of 120 farmers were sampled for the study. Copies of structured questionnaires were used in collecting data for the study. The data collected were analysed using descriptive statistics such as frequency counts, percentage as well as inferential statistics to test the relationship between the dependent and independent variables of the study.
