SUMMARY
The following conclusions were reached on the basis of the aforementioned findings:
Nigerians, particularly young people enrolled in tertiary institutions, lack a thorough understanding of media culture. They ought to be shown on the upsides of culture and its constancy on how it connects with all part of their lives. In any case, openness to western societies isn't awful yet it ought not be viewed as more better than the native culture. According to the findings of this study, it is clear that the media play a significant role in shifting the audience's attention to what they want them to constantly consider. In this way, because the media set the agenda for people to follow and can influence their audience, it should use its programming to promote indigenous cultures rather than foreign cultures because this can help Nigerian tertiary students develop and improve their cultural identity. Additionally, the media ought to harp more on their instructing capability and utilize that to advance native societies so the Nigeria legacy won't confront eradication.
