ABSTRACT
Employees’ performance is one way in which organisations can effectively meet consumers’ expectations of receiving quality goods or service as without improving on the performance of employees within the organisation will gradually lead to the loss of consumers or organisational customer base. This was without doubt witnessed in the COVID era as the uncertainty that accompanied global pandemic greatly affected the performance of employees in most organisations which saw the collapse of some businesses while organisations that were able to navigate through the sea of uncertainty during the COVID era by ensuring that they increased the performance of their employees continued to thrive even to the post Covid era. To this end, it is important for organisations to continue putting resources in place that will help them improve or develop new and innovative ways in which they can adopt ICT in their business operation as this will be instrumental to their longevity in the business environment and also meets the business long term goal and objectives.
