ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to examine the History of Racism in the American Society 1960 – 2000. The study discusses the history of American society before 1960, the origin and development of racism in the American society in the 1960’s, the ways in which racism manifested in various areas of American society, including education, employment, and the criminal justice system, the key institutional changes and social movements of the study, as well as the impact of racism on the black lives in United State of America.
