ABSTRACT
The choice of Hip-Pop and Beyonce’s style in this research is based on the pragmatic approach in showcasing Beyonce Knowles style of dance. This style is wholly or partially adopted by youths, individuals and dancers in society with the aim of demonstrations to Beyonce’s style. This study therefore, attempted a practical realization of Beyonce’s style. The aim of this project, therefore, is to analyze the movement aesthetics and ideology in Hip-Pop and Beyonce dance style. Beyonce Knowles has been rated as the queen of the entertainment industry, a woman of commendable style. She has attained full relevance in the world of entertainment and style. However, what has won her accolades, distinction and of course, the prestigious Grammy awards which she has won over twenty times has been her rich description, elaborate scenes and fascinating dance style. Beyonce Knowles in her super state style and solid dance moves has contributed to the growth of the industry (Hollywood). In realizing this project we have adopted the primary and secondary research methods as well as the experimental method. This project has contributed significantly to the Hip-Pop tradition in Nigeria and more importantly to the many dance styles in vogue.
