ABSTRACT
The research is about Governing system and economic development in Nigeria, this work is carried out by the use of primary and secondary data, the finding of this work is mainly concern about the activities of the Governing system whether its beneficial to the people and how the Governing system has help to quell the crisis of the development of Nigeria, the finding of this work is mainly done through the use of primary and secondary data, the questionnaire, the respondent are members of the economic development in Nigeria
which include the comparative analysis of economic development under military and democratic government in Nigeria (1960 till date).
The work was also done through the use of Newspaper, magazine Journals. The finding of this work speaks that government system has help to increase the amount of political democratic government in Nigeria. It also show that the Government system did not fulfill it aim of increasing the economic activities in Nigeria.
It shows that the governing system as well as the Democratic government with the federal government has contributed a lot in the political and economic decadence that has been eating Nigerians all these
