ABSTRACT
Samples from Iguoriakhi were collected and were subjected to geotechnical tests with the principal objective of predicting their engineering behaviour. These samples were subjected to six basic engineering property tests. The tests are; specific gravity, compaction test, Atterberg limit tests, particle size analysis, natural moisture content test, and triaxial compression tests. Results from the specific gravity tests show 2.43 for N.E and 2.34 for D.G; Atterberg limits resulted in a liquid limit of 67.83% and plasticity index of 40.33. The results show they are not suitable for construction, and fillers.
