ABSTRACT
Gender inequality is a great problem that has been going on for ages in Nigeria especially in urhobo.this research was arranged to critically review the inequality in urhobo between the men and women.the study based on primary and secondary data. Total 5 books and PDF were downloaded from the net and was critically reviewed each books 7times and analyze the situation. This research state that women are always treated badly and the men is considered superior in urhobo society and only women is regarded as caretaker of the home and no share is given to them as inheritance. When a male child is birthed people fire for congratulations while on the girl parents are always on grief. The birth of a male child assure a woman the status of a wife in the house.in food, education and in health, the male child are always gets the attention while the daughters are if ignored. In the parliament in urhobo government, men are always given a position than the women. Economically women are seen as weaker vessels and men are seen as strong being that jobs are given to them. This research is all about the Inequality imbalance that happens in urhobo society.
