Conclusion
This study explored salient gender issues that span across patriarchy gender discrimination and objectification of the female gender so as to reignite feminist agitations towards the liberation of women from socio-cultural practices and thought patterns that continue to relegate women. From this study, it is glaring that patriarchy has roots in the socio-cultural patterns of a people and it is the spring board to all discriminatory practices against women. This work is therefore the product of feminist authors as they pass a message across as a clarion call for women to be allowed freedom to be all they want to be.
