ABSTRACT
The study assessed the fuel subsidy removal and national development in Nigeria: An Impact Evaluation of the May 29 2023 declaration. four research questions were raised to guide the study. The study adopted descriptive survey research method. The population of this study consisted of all 100 and 400 level Political Sciences undergraduate students in the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Benin, Benin-City in the 2021 & 2022 academic session. There were eight hundred and thirty-nine (839) Political Sciences undergraduate students in the Department of Political Science in the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Benin, Benin-City. The simple random technique was adopted by the study to select a sample size of 150 (one hundred and fifty).
