ABSTRACT

Online food ordering has become an integral part of modern life, driven by the convenience it offers to both customers and restaurant operators. Traditional methods of food ordering, such as phone calls or in-person visits, are prone to delays, miscommunications, and errors, which can negatively impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. These limitations highlight the need for digital solutions that streamline the ordering process while enhancing user experience.

This project emphasizes the importance of integrating automation and AI in online food ordering systems to address common issues such as inadequate navigation and the lack of real-time customer support. Specifically, it proposes the development of a Frontend Implementation of a Food Ordering Website with an AI FAQ Bot. The AI FAQ bot is designed to provide instant responses to frequently asked questions regarding menu options, delivery timelines, and order statuses, thus reducing reliance on human intervention for routine inquiries.

The scope of this project is limited to frontend implementation, focusing on creating a user-friendly and responsive web interface. Key features include intuitive navigation, an aesthetically pleasing design, and an AI-driven FAQ bot capable of learning from user interactions to provide more accurate and context-aware responses over time. The system supports users in browsing menus, placing orders, and accessing support seamlessly.

Object-oriented analysis and design methods were employed to create the system architecture, including use case diagrams and class diagrams, which provided a foundation for implementing the system's features. By addressing challenges faced in traditional food ordering systems and prioritizing scalability and efficiency, this project contributes to the advancement of digital food ordering platforms, providing a model that can be adapted and enhanced for broader industry applications.
