ABSTRACT
The model was significant and the reaction temperature, alkaline concentration as well as reaction time all affect the yield of EG sugar. At a temperature of 700C, a reaction time of 30 minutes and 0.55% NaOH concentration, an optimal yield of fermentable sugar (694.294%) was obtained.
