ABSTRACT
In Nigeria, the federalism issue and related problems of national integration are extremely concerning. There is increasing concern and interest in the situation. The crises are so severe that they lead to the mounting of a powerful force against the federation that has the potential to split the nation apart. The work examines and analyzes the issue in order to address these phenomena. Data collection and analysis are done using the documentary research approach. The work employed system theory for our analytical framework. While textbooks, journals, and periodical publications by relevant government organizations served as the necessary source of our data. The mechanism of revenue allocations is identified in the book as the primary cause of the national integration issues in Nigerian federalism. It is concluded that peaceful union is the solution to this issue
