ABSTRACT
The study investigated Factors Influencing students' in Chemistry Education in tertiary institution: A Case Study of the University of Benin. Students in Secondary Schools have often been faced with the problem of indecision when they are about to choose the course of study in tertiary institution. The objective of this study were: to determine the factors of influence students' enrollment, to determine the factors that discourage students' enrollment and to determine the ways to encourage students’ enrollment In Chemistry Education in tertiary institution using university of Benin as a case study. The study's research design was a descriptive survey. The Population of these study was chemistry education students in department of Curriculum and Instructional Technology. The sample size consists of 85 respondents who are Chemistry Education students in the department of Curriculum and Instructional Technology. The tool used to collect data was a questionnaire. The instrument was validated. The reliability coefficient gotten was 0.725.
