ABSTRACT
This study elicited the factors influencing application of clinical instructions in nursing practice among nursing students in University of Benin. It employed a cross-sectional survey design by administering a well-structured questionnaire to One hundred and Seventy One (171) undergraduate nursing students in the University of Benin. The respondents were selected using simple random sampling and subjected to statistical analysis. The dataset from the administered questionnaire was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics and the level of significance was set at p<0.05. The IBM Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 24.0 was used for the data analysis. The result from the study shows that all the three factors elicited had positive influence on the application of clinical instructions in nursing practice. And therefore recommends that there is the need to improve clinical instructor supervision and designing appropriate clinical practice protocol.
