FACTORS AFFECTING THE TEACHING AND LEARNING OF BUSINESS EDUCATION PROGRAMME IN UNIVERSITIES IN EDO STATE

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research project is to investigate the various factors that influence the teaching and learning of business education programme in Universities Edo State. Business education plays a vital role in preparing individuals for the dynamic and competitive business environment. However, several factors might impact the effectiveness of teaching and learning within this programme. In this study, a mixed-methods approach will be employed to gather data from both educators and students. Quantitative surveys will be used to assess the perceptions of educators and students regarding the factors influencing the teaching and learning of business education. Additionally, qualitative interviews will be conducted to gain deeper insights into the challenges and opportunities experienced within the educational process. The findings of this research will contribute to the existing body of knowledge by identify key factors that affect the teaching and learning of business education programme. Moreover, the study aims to provide recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of the business education programme, thereby facilitating better preparation of students for the business world. This research is significant as it seeks to address the gaps in understanding the dynamics of teaching and learning within business education programme, ultimately leading to potential improvements in the delivery and reception of this crucial aspect of education.
