ABSTRACT
This study examines the factors motivating adult learner’s participation in Literacy education programmes in Egor L.G.A. The instrument used for the study was the questionnaire consisting of twenty items.
The questionnaire was administered to one hundred thirty-four respondents (Adult learners) from five selected literacy centers. The questionnaires were successfully completed and returned. Five research questions were raised to guide the study. The data was statistically analyzed using simple percentage.
Based on the findings, some recommendations were made and which if implemented will encourage more and better participation of adult learners in Literacy education programme.
