Maintaining the attendance record is a daunting activity with day to day events. The conventional method of calling each student’s name is time-consuming. This project is focused on facial recognition biometric system and how it is used to record student’s attendance. The system automatically starts taking snaps of the students face and then applies face detection and recognition technique to the given image and the recognized students are marked as present and the record for time and their ID is recorded in the database. Profound learning techniques were used to build this system and the system is capable of actually recognizing multiple images that have been trained.
