In the acute toxicity study, dosage of 10mg/kg, 100mg/kg, 1000mg/kg of ethyl acetate extract of A. Boonei stem bark was administered orally to swiss albino mice.No death of mice was recorded. And LD50 value greater than 5000mg/kg was obtained which showed A.Boonei is non-toxic using the Hodge and sterner toxicity scale.
