ABSTRACT
This project investigates the extent of use of available Digital Instructional Materials for teaching computer science in Edo state junior secondary schools. The project uses a dichotomous scale and liberty scale questionnaire. The project administers questionnaires to 60 computer science teachers in both urban and rural schools in Edo state. The project explores the types and sources of Digital Instructional Materials available for the teachers use for teaching of computer science; the extent to which they use these materials in their teaching processes; the benefits and challenges of using these materials for computer science education; and the possible strategies to improve the availability and utilization of these materials for enhancing the quality of computer science education in Edo state junior secondary schools.
