ConclusionCassava has been noted to be a cash crop and Nigeria, recognized globally as highest producer.Cassava crop has become prominent in Nigeria’s drive towards increasing her foreign exchange base, and serves as one of the major sources of carbohydrate while commercialization of its processing contributes to poverty reduction and sustains livelihoods due to its income generating potential. Findings from the study have showed that processing and marketing of the selected cassava products (garri, chips and flour) is a profitable business venture.
