ABSTRACT

In this study, we talked about the exponential distribution which is from the Exponential Family and is one of the many statistical distributions used in statistical modelling of life system because of the robustness of its properties and adaptability to most real life scenario.

In this study, we also considered the literature review of similar works on exponential distribution.

This study continues with the form of the exponential distribution, some of its properties, its moment generating function, its characteristic function, the maximum likelihood estimator of its parameter, its method of moment estimation and the exponential reliability functions.

This study also entails the reliability data analysis of Wotex Foams Limited along with a table showing the reliability of Wotex Foams Limited for various time (t) expressed in years.
