ABSTRACT
Fabrics have a special place when it comes to beauty, legacy, and pride of the African culture. They differs in colour, sizes, texture, designs and print. They are used for various occasions and events such as wedding, parties, ceremonies and run way shows. This study aimed at creating fashionable and amazing styles and designs with Ankara fabrics, where various literature were reviewed pertaining to the scope of study. It also employed the qualitative method of research where experimentation was a key factor. It is important to note that the world is evolving, so is the fashion world, and we cannot grow as designers when we keep repeating old fashion sense, hence it is key to note that creativity is the watch word in this scope of study, proving to one that Ankara can be used to design elaborately complex and fascinating styles. The researcher exhibited Ankara costumes for female category, with different and beautiful Ankara fabrics. From findings, the researcher expressed through her work, that Ankara fabrics can be turned into an amazing picturization of fascinating styles and designs.
