ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to evaluate the possible factors affecting junior secondary school students’ behavior in cultural and creative arts in delta central senatorial district. The work adopted a primary data research approach using questionnaire administered to respondents. The descriptive survey design was adopted to accomplish the objective of this study. The population of the study was 179, and the sample size was 40 (Forty) representing 22.4% of the total population. The main instrument of this research was a 12 item self- structured questionnaire, validated by the researcher's supervisor and two other experts from the Department of Educational Foundation of the University of Benin. The instrument was tested for reliability using split- half reliability method. The descriptive statistics of mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the data that yielded a coefficient of 0.76 considered high enough for establishing the internal consistency of the item on the questionnaires. It is concluded that Cultural and Creative Arts is a very important aspect of learning and this makes it very useful in the society life. It should therefore be taught well, at the best time and the best condition in order to ensure the efficiency of the individual’s creative ability.
